Super Cheap Minis
If you’re having trouble paying for miniatures because DDI or Dungeonaday.com are sucking all the juice from your bank account, here’s a very cheap alternative. Miniatures made from nuts and bolts! The original story at BoinBoing is about chessmen but using these on a battlemap would be too sweet.
My plan? Pawns for the usual run-of-the-mill bad guy, king or queen for “boss” types and the rest of the set left for the players to use and modify as needed.
