Cyberpunk Hotels

The Gamer Traveler wrote about two geek hotels that would make terrific adventure settings in a near future game. Head over and take a look then think about these ideas.
Sidi Driss
The Hotel Sidi Driss, modeled for the Lars Homestead on Tatooine, is the home base of a group of religious fanatics who believe in the Force as a real aspect of reality. Raising sheep to support themselves, residents are grouped into 3 tiers: commoners, Padawan and Jedi.
Once each decade a Jedi is chosen by lot to represent and act for the Dark Side. This selection is entirely random and secret, performed by the central computer system. The community is then tested by this one to determine if they’ve kept to the True Path.
Hobbit Motel
This hotel in New Zealand was once a popular getaway for Tolkein fans but in the 22nd century fell into disuse and is now the residence of a heavy metal band named Ancient Entity. A front for money laundering, the band’s real money comes from the drummer’s ability to build a variety of explosion devices. The band has also been known to manufacture and sell a drug called “Ephothll”, a cherry-colored narcotic .

Glad you liked it
They were cool locations and screamed for game use lol
Does free really mean free???I recently found this free online auction site AuctionNitro.com. There are ABSOLUTEY 100% no fees to
list items, sell items or buy items! You can even feature, bold etc., at no cost as well and there is no
“gotcha” fine print. However, I found myself sending several emails asking over and over “it is all free?
What’s the catch?”FREE MEANS WHAT IT SAYS – FREE!!!It seems that the word free today carries so little real substance that it has to always have a catch to it.
-Does Free mean almost free?
-Does Free mean only if you subscribe and pay later?
-Does Free mean just for some people? When a product and/or service is advertising free, in my old fashioned mentality, it always means free!
Try it, Use it, Love it or leave it but don’t abuse it! Today it seems that talk has become so cheap that
what our country once stood for “Free” is now just a passing phrase for marketers.
